No Prince or Metallica fans, the above is not the cover art for The Black Album. Well that's a lie is it. Yet the very same artwork was used for a limited edition vinyl release earlier this year from Burial, Four Tet & Mr Thom Yorke himself. Ego/Mirror are two of the best songs of 2011! It's sad that the songs were not plugged harder, a promo video could of been created & a more accessible CD or MP3 release could of been made available as this seriously is a work of genius. Combining the strangely beautiful ominious nature of Burial's sounds, juxtaposing playing sounds and a funky drum pattern by Four Tet-all rounded off with delicious vocals by Thom. It was a dream collaboration which i wish an album of material was created.
