Toronto's newest Rnb star Abel Tesfaye blasted on the scene earlier this year when he dropped his debut album House of Balloons for free! The album is a delicious mix of The XX influenced minimalism with an ominous vibe on the rnb genre. As much as his vocals on this debut are quite beautiful the Kanye West inspired detailing of his life of money, ho's & alcohol brings the album down a little for me but there are some tight cuts on this album in particular The Morning. The gorgeous opening guitar soloing into a really tight beat will make you nod like a Churchill dog in a matter of seconds!
