Trojan Presents: Lovers Rock is an epic, near-three-hour experience consisting of 40 classic romantic reggae hits. All of the cuts are laidback, seductive and hypnotic. At £4.99 on Amazon (sorry to plug), this is a steal for the quality and the enjoyment you'll get. The album features classics by The J Sisters, Junior Tucker, Matumbi, Marcia Aitken, Gregory Isaacs and Delroy Wilson, plus many others.
Delroy Wilson's cover of Bob Marley's "I'm Still Waiting" made him a popular figure in the reggae community. After years of battling with health issues, he was never able to top his '80s output, which is acknowledged by reggae fans as beautiful and captivating. So Rest In Peace, Delroy Wilson, and may people remember and cherish your talent.
